The self titled fourth long player from the New Yorkers
Interpol is the self-titled fourth studio album from the New York trio and it is released on September 13th 2010.
Despite very favourable reviews they debut album 'Turn on the Bright Lights' failed to reach to the top 100 in the UK when released back in 2002. However, 2004's 'Antics' faired way better when peaking at 21 and 2007's 'Our Love To Admire' give then their biggest hit to date when reaching number 2.
Early reviews of the album (Interpol) are fairly positive with Q Magazine and Consequence of Sound both given it 4/5. Mojo Magazine gives it 3/5 and on a first listen by Paul Stokes from the
NME appears to give it the thumbs up.

3 this autumn and 1 next year
When most acts announce plans to release multiple album you know you can take it with a pinch of salt, however, when
Ryan Adams announces plans you have to take it seriously as he did actually release 3 album (one of them a double) back in 2005.
Speaking in a Facebook message Adams had revealed that a new double album called
III/IV which he recorded with his former backing The Cardinals will be released in the autumn and there will also be a new album of archived solo material called
Blackhole.
He also went on to add that he was working on some brand new material which should see the light of day sometime in 2011, he wrote: “
I've been working on a second batch of tunes," he explained. "Both sessions ( NYC [New York] and LA [Los Angeles]) sound super cool but I feel like there is even more. Still working. I imagine the new solo LP will be ready next year”
